Noise texture in photon shader

There is an option called “Noise on DH terrain” in the Photon shader, but it does not seem to work even when enabled.
This is puzzling since the shader is said to be compatible with DH.
If anyone knows how to enable noise textures in Photon, I would appreciate any guidance.

Oculus 1.8.0
