Routing Optimization
So the thing is that I am getting 30ms and Im playing on Mumbai servers from Rajasthan Jodhpur and on the other hand my friend whos from Delhi is getting 20ms with same ISP and compared to him my location is closer to server and my friends in my area are getting 15-20ms on other ISPs .Thats why I want help with this thing.
I know its not a issue but for me its important pls help me when u got time.

That actually sounds like a routing problem, lemme check that when I get a chance. Whos the ISP?

ok so your friend is on the same ISP ? I think his internet provider is sending his traffic directly to Mumbai instead of Delhi like yours.
BOM < - > DEL for Riot is 18ms, yours 12ms is ping towards Delhi POP, so that rounds to 30ms for games
So is it fixable

no news my friend, I was out whole week. isnt your friend closer to Delhi than you are ?

But what are we trying to fix man, hes closer to Delhi meaning he will get better ping to our POP, we take the traffic and carry it to Mumbai. this is all your ISP I cant do anything, move closer to Delhi or Mumbai bruh :val_KekwSob:

Why it is taking longer path when it can just go directly to mumbai
Current route:Jodhpur →Delhi → Mumbai
Route which is correct:Jodhpur → Ahmedabad → Mumbai
2nd option can easily cut my ping in half
dude reach out to your ISP, Riot cant do anything how your ISP operates internally, what if they decide to run your traffic via Kolkata one day ( I know its stupid example) will you ping me to fix that ? First point of contact should be your ISP tell them what we found out if you feel you should get a better latency

How would he know the latencies for your ISP to those locations
Dude I am not asking specifically for my ISP

It does entirely depend on the ISP and their routings
Different ISP’s through same routing can have different latencies

We dont have a POP in RAJ, We have two in India - Delhi and Mumbai so I only know those and its 17-18ms

guess I am stuck with lag forever XD
I also wanted to ask u a question is there some kind of high ping exploit going on recently cause I am getting players who got 80 ping and they can easily hold me and can shoot faster than me while running
it was not like that before
its almost like those with high ping are playing on LAN or somthing XD
