Hey! We have an open issue for
pgvectorscale on GitHub: https://github.com/neondatabase/neon/issues/8043.
At the moment, there are no plans to add pgvectorscale, but please add your request and use case to the issue. Our roadmap depends on user feedback!
We’ve had several internal discussions about pgvectorscale, but currently, we don’t have strong benchmarks or evidence that pgvectorscale outperforms pgvector. (As always, there’s more nuance to it.)
