Why do Roblox TikTokers love lying to people? - Roblox Forum
No offense to them, but whenever one of them appears on my FYP, there's a high chance that they're sharing absolute bullcrap.
For example, there was a rumor going around that says that the main reason why ROBLOX changed their logo this year is to honor a dead admin. I can't remember if people said the admin in question is Erik Cassel or a random admin at the company. Whoever it is, their death was apparently so significant that ROBLOX apparently had to change their logo, and consequently their entire branding, in respect for them.
I have many questions.
Why would any company change their branding and logo in respect to a dead employee? If a company wants to honor a dead employee or admin, they would make a blog post, social media post, or something similar. They won't go out of their way to change an essential part of themselves to honor them.
If the death they're honoring is Erik Cassel's, then why honor it now? Erik died in 2013, so it seems odd for ROBLOX to suddenly honor him 12 years later, especially in this fashion.
If ROBLOX is truly honoring a dead employee, then why does the new logo don't reflect that? There should be a nod to the dead admin in the new logo. For example, if ROBLOX wants to honor Erik Cassal, they could've made the logo orange or hide a straw hat in the logo as an easter egg. However, they didn't do anything like that in the new logo.
Don't even get me started on the TikTok videos where they claim that a beloved ROBLOX feature is getting removed. I've once heard from one of them that ROBLOX is considering removing classic clothing. However, when I do quick google search on it, I can't find anything to support this claim.
Do a lot of ROBLOX TikTokers just believe everything they see online without a second thought?
