when i hear people say "man, old roblox was sooo good" it makes me immediately wonder... what is old roblox to you? could you specify? it is just a relative arbitrary thing to say and requires clarification
old roblox could be old from your perspective if you joined in like, 2020 and think that is old roblox
old roblox could just mean anything before present year, day, month, etc
generally i hear old roblox referring to 2017 or before
in your honest opinion, what do you consider old roblox, and do you think that it is better than current, and if so, why?
and do you think that like, its just nostalgia? i feel like i think a few years ago on roblox was better, but i was also younger, and would never be able to guess the trajectory roblox would take at the time-- i believe that if i went back to like, 2020, five years ago (which is insane that its actually been 5 years), but remained the same age i do in 2025, and got to replay those games i enjoyed 5 yrs ago, but with the knowledge of what games would be like in the future, i just think i would get bored so fast

to me it's same as how people say they miss the old youtube layout, iOS, windows XP, etc.
they don't miss old roblox because it was better but more so because they were little kids and now they are nostalgiatards who say "bring back old roblox!!" which is weird to me because like.. bringing back old roblox is not gonna bring back your childhood lol
