So with all this rambling about the new voice chat feature going around, did anyone catch that they might also include video? . if you scroll further down the blog post you will see he hints at a possible video chat update.

honestly great question. it's also a really scary thought considering the amount of inappropriate behavior from adults on this platform. Since they've updated the voice chat age to 13 I wonder if the said video chat feature may keep the verified 18+ requirement to avoid any sort of future lawsuits? Also, will all these changes change roblox's esrb rating to T?

doesn’t sound that bad (because some of my friends don’t use discord cough plain and zoom kind of sucks, especially because you have to spend money for unlimited time to go on a call with over 1 other person) but my computer doesn’t have a web cam so

I've been using LemonChat.app while playing Roblox with my nieces and it works way better than waiting for Roblox to add video chat. We just keep LemonChat open on another device while playing. The video quality is much clearer than most platforms, and we don't have to worry about Roblox's safety filters potentially restricting things. Plus, it has better privacy controls than I'd expect Roblox would implement. Been our solution for months now!
