Problem getting account back - Roblox Forum
My grand daughter played Roblox from my PSN account.
She got logged off and forgets how to get back in. (She created the account as a 9 year old - so obviously didn't fully grasp the signup process) She doesn't have an email address or SMS account and there are no messages to me regarding her new account.
Her user name shows up as @XXXXXXX to other users. I have the initial message to me PSN account when she first downloaded and installed Roblox. She also purchased some Robux from my PSN account - for which I, again, have the message sent to my PSN account.
I read that by providing the username and my PSN details to Roblox, they could let me change the password and get access back again.
Here is the message I get back with no hint as to what the problem is :
"there is no email address or purchase information is associated with the provided account "XXXXXXXX" username and there is no other way to verify account ownership than the verified email so, we won't be able to assist you further regarding this accounts query."
Without further guidance, I am completely baffled here ? They obviously associated the Robux to the account when they took money out of my PSN account.
Maybe someone can help me since Roblox support clearly won't. To be fair, Roblox support were responsive up to a point but just wouldn't even give me an idea of what I am missing. Maybe someone on here overcame a similar problem?
Is there another "account username" other than what is displayed ? or am I missing some aspect of it that I am not providing ? Or can someone give me insight as to why they can't tie her account to the PSN acount on which it is played? I find that very hard to believe.
Some kind of clue would be much appreciated.
