so i recently said in chat to this guy "stop spamming the chat and mocking gay people" i reported him and turns out i got bannned for it. roblox must have thought i was discriminating. HERES THE THING! I WAS TELLING HIM TO STOP DISCRIMINATING!!!!!!!!!!!! the guy was mocking people BECAUSE they were gay. he was also saying some innapropriate things in the chat. im just upset i ended up being banned even tho i was not the one discriminating...
also isnt roblox the one being discriminatory because they banned me for saying gay! whats wrong with being gay?

That would be the case if the ban was issued by a human. But it wasn't. They have bots in their moderation system doing the light work for them so they can make actual humans focus on more complex cases.
It's stupid and the "AI" behind it needs to understand context before it's used like this, but I'm afraid this has been a problem for a couple years now.

It's because you used the word "gay"
No I'm not kidding; it's literally because you said "gay." Roblox, in the name of protecting gay people, treats the word like a slur and bans anybody who uses it, no matter the context.
imo, I get the idea, but banning the word outright is stupid, especially when it's the accepted term to describe a group of people.
If you want my suggestion to do while you wait, play something else. It's a 1 day ban; it's not really bad.
