Devforum is for 13+, seriously? - Roblox Forum
so first, i accidently set my account to 2012, and now i cannot login to devforum because im under 13 when i accidently set it to 2012, WHY DID ROBLOX ADD THIS? or did roblox agree with coppa to set it only over 13 or 13? roblox says that you can build anything you want, but devforum is 13 plus, why?

1: Wrong subforum
2: Roblox doesn't allow people under 13 to change their age because of COPPA. The most you can do is email Roblox support with proof that you are over 13 (like an ID),or wait 4 years to have your account be 13+.
3: The Devfourm is 13+ since the Devforum is made to have serious discussions about Roblox games. Having immature kids running around the site and disrupting serious conversation is creates an environment where a friendly and stable conversation is impossible. One of the reasons why the original Roblox Forum, which didn't have an age restriction, shut down is because it was getting hard to moderate immature people who are breaking the rules left and right. I'm not saying that all kids are immature but setting an age restriction can help stop the site from becoming chaotic mess.

If devforum was for 13 and below, I'd expect a huge mass of kids struggling in coloring a Part, printing a single string or just spamming stuff because they think it's fun, matterulo's post explains it well

Man months ago my account got hacked and before I was able to recover it, he set the account age to 2017, now i have to wait 6-7 years to access the devforum
