(PETITION) Ban negative market manipulation - Roblox Forum
(I know this doesn't apply to you Non-Premium users, but please read and support if you want it. thank you.) i want to talk about, (a) certain user(s) have been LPP'ing certain items which will take very long to recover. LPP= Lowest Price Possible, i.e., 1 robux. Why you ask? It is so all the regular users who have those items lose valuable profit. Sometimes these items go down by OVER half their RAP value. JUST LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO THE POOR MIDNIGHT COMMANDO! But what's worse, these users are telling the LMaD forum before ANYONE else so the whole market will panic and crash. After the items are LPP'd, it is virtually impossible to trade them to anyone for higher than 2x the RAP. The users are already planning attacks on the Valkyrie Helm, Green Flash Shades, and possibly, The Bribe. (Don't panic sell your items beforehand!) How do they do this? Well they use market BOaTS to transfer back and forth the item to and from the alt. Market BOaTS aren't allowed on ROBLOX since they gave an unfair advantage to the average player. BOaTS= pieces of script that allow players to buy out LPP'd items, or very low snipes. Heres a simple example of how Negative Market Manipulation works. Player >Sells item for 1 robuck> Goes into Alternate account Alternate account >Sells item for 1 robuck> Goes back to Player Doing it until it's basically lost ALL its RAP and will probably take a year to recover. But with fast BOaTS, they can be impossible to BOaT the item being traded from player to alt. So I propse a ban on Negative Market Manipulation, and any caught doing it will get a ban ranging from 1 month-Permanent. BANS: Act 1: 1 month Act 2: 3 months. Act 3: 9 months (by now they should already know not to do it) Act 4: 1 YEAR Act 5: Terminated This ban system can make it so the player can not: -Mess with the market again in any way for that amount of time -Follow the market's activity (A.K.A. Value rise and falls) Thank you
