How long would it take me to learn scripting lua - Roblox Forum
How long would it take me to script lua and develop/ build roblox games on this platform, I used to have prior expereince and I want to learn in a fast pace method of how I would build my next roblox game, advertise and sponsor the game to make it famous.

I don't believe there is a definite answer since it varies for everyone and how determined they are to learn, that including how quick you can pick Lua up. In the end as long as you understand the language and are confident enough to use in practice, then should it matter?..

Depends on your skills in coding.
If this is going to be your first time learning to code, it will take longer as you have to learn the basics of coding. RBXLua (the Lua Roblox uses) is an object-orientated language, meaning it will require you to understand objects and how to manipulate them with code, which can add more time to your learning.
If you already know the basics of coding or know another coding language (especially another object-orientated language like Java or C++), it's going to be quick since you already have experience. All you have to learn is the syntax, which will be like learning another language but everything is in English or your native language.
