As someone who does a whole myth-hunting series here sometimes and was considered a myth-hunter at one point, my favorite myth was Melvin. It was the myth that actually somewhat scared me when I was young and basically peaked my interest in Roblox myths as a whole.
To sum things up, Melvin is a ghost story about a Roblox player who goes by the name of Melvin. He was popular with the Roblox community until his death due to cancer. His death was so impactful on the Roblox community that the Roblox admins apparently made a hat named Melvin (it was basically a gray transparent Shaggy) as a form of memorial for him. After his death, there were many reports that Melvin began hunting Roblox. Legend has it that one Roblox players every year would be transported to a game out of nowhere. In the game, the player would end up finding the Melvin hat as it taunt them. Eventually, the game would crash, and the player would, for no true reason, disappear or presumably killed.
Looking back, it was nothing more than a weird creepypasta, but it was a pretty decent story at the time, including me.
