Keeping the GPU awake when monitor is off so I can use sunshine/moonlight

I am running Bazzite on my Atari VCS. It works well and I like it, but I am having trouble with remote desktop. It includes a system called "sunshine" (and the client software is I guess called moonlight) but it seems to require that the monitor be on to be used. Apparently, the GPU sleeps or turns off if the monitor is off. I like the system otherwise and don't want to change it too much. Is there a way to keep the GPU on even if the monitor is off? Kernel parameter? Utility? Setting somewhere? (Using Bazzite with Wayland and KDE, all defaults).
