That's because Apple wants to milk as much money from the consumer as much as they possibly can. Why do you think they purposly slow down your older devices? So you upgrade.... Even though they claimed it was to conserve the phones battery... even though that is not true at all.
That's why you should steer clear from Apple products, ever since Steve Jobs died Apple has been a terrible company. You could spend 6,000 dollars on a Mac, and you could build a Windows 11 computer for under 1000 dollars and it would still be faster than the Mac. It's simply pathetic.
