Does anyone know any tricks for motivating myself into doing a game? - Roblox Forum
Lately, I've been starting to do a full-on recreation of a local regional railway in Madrid, but I can't find the interest and motivation in doing it.
Sure, sometimes I want to do it, but most of the time I lack interest in doing it.
Any tips?

Break the game down into smaller goals. Do one every other day. Set deadlines for each goal as well.
Reward yourself for every small goal you accomplish.

I don't have a lot of motivation too for making games, never really been my thing. But what I can say is that you can either listen to music while doing your project since, it motivates me a lot when i'm coding some test software. You can also try to do one thing per day and make it a goal! And if you feel very motivated, you can do 2 of your goals in a day!
