Path of Exile 1 stopped working with the launching of the new league
GGG has launched its new league for PoE 1 but I don't know why, it doesn't want to start. I have to say that the last leagues I have played without any problem since the first day I imported the game to HGL.
In this league, it's the first time it doesn't want to start the game. The GGG launcher works and updates as it normally does, but when I press the button to launch the game, it doesn't seem to do anything. I leave the log with uwu active and also without activating it. The version I use is GGG's own version (not Steam).

It says proton ge latest but also indicates it is based on
Wine build: wine-8.0 (Staging)
Is that expected or you just never updated your proton build until now?
@CommandMC Does Heroic auto download newest GE now or still user has to refresh it?Solution
Users have to manually go into the Wine Manager & update it

I remember switching from Wine-GE to GE-Proton a while back and the game worked. Anyway, I just updated it manually. I'm going to test it out.

Fixed. Updating the Proton version did the trick. Thanks folks :woohoo:
