Black screen desktop app on Debian
Hi ! I installed the desktop app for linux a few months ago and it worked fine at the beginning.
Since a few weeks when I open the app there is only a black screen and the following message on the terminal :
strict mode: missing type "object" for keyword "properties" at "#/properties/windowBounds" (strictTypes)
Would anyone know what this problem is and how to resolve it ?
I already updated the app with the last .deb available.
Thank you ! š

The black screen with the strict mode JSON schema error related to "windowBounds" suggests a corrupted or incompatible configuration file for the desktop app's window settings.
To resolve this, try resetting or deleting the app's configuration files stored in your Linux home directory under
~/.config/ente/. This will clear any corrupted window bounds settings causing the startup failure.
After deleting or renaming the config folder, restart the app. If needed, reinstall the latest .deb package from https://ente.io/download/desktop to ensure you have the newest version.
If the problem persists, you can check the app logs at ~/.config/ente/logs/ente.log for more details on the error. This may help identify further issues with the configuration or startup process.
