i dont really understand how that equation in red square came i get like half of what is going on but the qi and q part nope

Now if the sphere is earthed, potential of sphere is zero
Hence potential at centre of sphere is zero (it is implied and Im assuming it's understood)
So some charge flows from the ground to the sphere to make potential at centre=0, which is Qi and potential due to spherical charge distribution Qi at the centre is KQi/R
Sum: kQ/r + kQi/R=0
