Will ROBLOX have a dark future? - Roblox Forum
I always wondered what will be the future of ROBLOX. They remove more and more things we love, and add more and more things we hate! I mean it's cool to have better graphics,R15,Rthro,Metaverse, but who needs that? ROBLOX used to be a unique game, it does not require a good pc and it has bad graphics, but it is still a fun game to play when you are bored. But ROBLOX is trying to destroy this great concept with bad updates. So i think these are the possible scenarios:
First Scenario - ROBLOX is still a cool game to play, but they remove good things and add useless things, and ROBLOX became a pay-2-win platform that is not safe for kids e.t.c.
Secound Scenario - ROBLOX will actually make good updates that players love and the platform is slowly improving again.
Third Scenario - ROBLOX is fun for everyone, but it's still not safe for kids and toxic players ruin the game.
Personally, i think the first scenario will happen. ROBLOX is just becoming more and more pay2win, and even if they delete a condo game, a bot will create a new one! It would be maybe cool if ROBLOX became a platform for teenagers, but the problem is: Most of the ROBLOX players are kids, most of the revenue comes from kids, kids, Kids, KIDS, KKKIIIIDDDSSS! So either ROBLOX has to somehow deal with the problems, or just give up and ROBLOX becomes a 13+ platform. We would probably have no problem with it, but well, we need to think about the kids. I have a little brother who is 10 years old and loves to play ROBLOX just like me! Well, to end this post, if i had a kid, i would not let him/her play ROBLOX, because in my opinion ROBLOX could be a lil bit dangerous to little children.

roblox is just becoming a lot more corporate. they’ve become less of an actual platform and instead have become just a company. a lot of horrible updates have come by as well as some other things as well. but kids are still playing it so it’ll still make more money. but yeah i was right to leave because they’re planning to get nfts into their game so
