So im hanging out in roblox I was in a vc with some friends on discord and then we found out this Roblox has made some pride stuff but you cannot say gay ik that you may get banned for 5 days on roblox for saying but roblox makes pride stuff to?!?!?111

I a lot of the pride stuff I see are done by UGC creators. I don’t think any of them would really make that stuff for malicious intentions or just for straight up profit.
Roblox moderation is mostly done with bots. Bots can’t tell if something is being used for harm or for complimenting. The bot just knows that this word can be used to harm or troll another so it just shoots on site whenever a word is spoken about an issue it knows exist. Even if the comment that was said had no intention of harm in the first place.
It’s a shoot first ask questions later mentality on Roblox.

Roblox is supports LGBTQ+, or at least they claim to be, so they released pride-based items.
Believe or not, banning the word "gay" is actually done to protect gay people on Roblox because it was, and technically still is, being used in a negative light. The only problem with it is that it also bans usage of it neutrally and sometimes positively.
