2012 April Fools Hack - Roblox Forum
I know this topic has been talked to death, but I just wanted to talk about how weird it was also most of the things I will be saying have already been said. Ellernate was a huge role in the hack, he was the person who got into the test site and got the power to do basically whatever he wanted to Roblox. He could change banners, upload hats that were not supposed to come out, and could ban people accounts for no reason at all. Everybody on the Roblox forums were freaking out when people found out about the hack. Eventually, Roblox had control of the website and shut it down, also some people were still in games during this time. The next day, Roblox was back to normal and all the damage had been reversed. Told you it was talked to death.

I remember getting on Roblox and being pissed it was under maintenance.

EDIT: I didn't mention this in the post but rare hats were changed to higher amounts of robux, not finished hats were put up for sale, and banned random people for doing nothing. (also this still has been talked to death)
