ROBLOX Username Refund - Roblox Forum
Is there anybody that thinks ROBLOX might want to refund people their money back because of the fact that it's virtually meaningless to change your username when the display name is accessible for every account? I've spent 28,000 robux on 28 name since after 2013 when they launched the name change feature.
Now, some may say "Well maybe you should have kept your original name and not waste your robux." Fair point.
But I'm also going to cite ROBLOX giving back people robux for the shirts and clothes that I guess were [ Content Deleted].
Just want to know your guys' opinions, thanks.

yeah, there sadly is no refund (as far as i know)
I THINK you can contact support, but sadly i dont think they can help
in short, no. yes, display names are a proper alternative for this, but its still unfair imo. they really should add refunds

Why exactly should they? The name change feature is still currently in place. If they removed that feature, then yes it makes sense to refund people. Just like they did with the shirts that were deleted. The name change feature isn't a removed feature, so roblox has no reason to refund anybody.
Anybody that changes their name 28 times on the other hand, doesn't really deserve to have a refund. I can't see a logical reason to change your name that many times on roblox.

Username =/= Display Name.
They're a completely different thing. Display names are typically shortened versions of your name (e.g. john2234 - john). Usernames are your actual identity, so it's like in real-life where you have a full name, and then your shortened name your friends call you.

I have never seen Roblox did a refund before ?

They shouldn't, but at the same time they should (because I get a bunch of robux)
Though all that robux coming back may or may not crash the economy

I thought that change was for your username, which is a feature still present? It'd be like changing your Twitter handle while keeping the displayed name, I doubt they'd refund.
