Odd issue in fortnite

IDK if this is a bug with the game itself or with the launcher, but most of my gliders in fortnite just....straight up dissapeared. the game itself works perfectly fine, but the gliders are completely bugged out.

Any advice? im tempted to just cut my losses and reinstall on EGS to see if its a launcher issue

Try following this: Error "Pak Is Invalid" after updating fortnite to new season
So, navigate to <game install dir>\FortniteGame\Content\Paks<game install dir>\FortniteGame\Content\Paks and remove all .pak.pak files, then verify & repair

also wierd question while im here: if i wanted to swap to using EGS in future for some reason, would i need to reinstall the game entirely? or could i just like. migrate the files?

You can enable EGL sync in Heroic's settings, then any games you install will be available in both launchers

so i found a fix
i have other pcs in the house that use the epic launcher
so i just copied the Paks folder to my pc running heroic
that fixed it
