Modular Load balancers and MLB Alt down with newest DI_Common update.
been tracing this for the last half hour: server will boot fine until I add these back in, and the only comon denominator is the update for DI_Common :/

ironically we are apparently NOT on the newest DI_Common right now it seems

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel.
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
unfortunately I was uploading the profile manually to a dedicated server because mod manager STFP connection seems to have broke tonight
I'm just waiting on Cartograph to finish updating then I can test this in both SP and dedi with logs enabled to see if I can replicate the issue & get a debug.zip to help 🙂
you rock! sadly i think i missed that they pulled out when i pushed any update for my peeps so Imma have to rebuild my resin wall 😄
Hmmmm I wasn't able to replicate the bug exactly, it still let me into the game and build MLB alternates, use the Digby tool etc. However there were still a bunch of warnings and errors in the log so I've generated the debug anyway in case it helps!

downgrade_duplicate
The Mod Manager is reporting an error because it's trying to modify an outdated copy of the game. This could be caused by one of two things:
1. One of the installs connected to the Profile you have selected is still running a previous version. To fix this, either uninstall it, update it, or switch to a different Mod Manager profile so that it isn't considered in the update process.
2. You have leftover files in your install directory from downgrading to play a previous version. To fix this, uninstall the game (verify files won't fix this!), delete the game install directory if it still exists (this is NOT the AppData folder, but the location where you installed the game), then reinstall the game, and reopen SMM.

we're using amp to host our server, it throws an error 1 which is apparently a super general can't start error
so on the dedicated side it actually won't actually let me start our serrver
however fred has a point if a file got stuck in from an attempted downgrade I suppose that could be part of the issue, eithe ri can fix the STFP issue or delete it locally, reinstall it all and wipe the server mods and push them all back all at once
If you're able to get the debug.zip from the server &/or any players on there that would be very helpful. You should be able to generate the logs of it failing to start
lemme see

alright let me put them back in for a fresh error cause i can't ifnd the other lol
pushing updated DI as well (hopefully), seemed like last time I did this it did weird things
is there a way to have dedicated run a debug
ah....i think i have found the real issue
since i'm trying to install them via direct file transfer I think there's something happening beyond my control: i need to get mod manager fixed it seems :/
now if ya have any ideas what would cause STFP to hang indefinitely....lmao
what a day
Probs make a new thread about that one, to keep the issues separate and easier to search for anyone trying to help or fix the same issue
>separate
Please make your own thread, or simply right click this one and hit "follow post" if your issue is identical and you want to stay updated while it gets resolved.
And throw the debug in there 🙂
yup. makes sense, headed that way
not sure i get a debug for this one: it's just an infini-dedicated server connection. brb new thread
