Database offline

Hi Neon Community Hope everyone is well I have a couple of apps deployed on Replit and since Saturday my database has been inaccessible, I have reached out to Replit support but haven't heard back and was hoping maybe someone here has a solution or went through the same issue.

Its very frustrating, I've reached out to every support channel possible but not getting assistance. What error are you getting? I have this on all my apps database: "NeonDbError: password authentication failed for user...."

Well mine is a loss of data and my database ID in Replit isn’t the correct one so I can’t use the recovery tool

Yes, that's the exact same issue I have, but because the ID changed the password doesn't match. My recovery tool is also inactive.

Hi, I'm also having a problem with my database. I thought my app was probably sending the wrong event. I reset it and it worked for a few minutes, but it's crashed again. I'm investigating whether the error is coming from my code or if it's a Neon issue.

neon support is non existent and they are having many errors with free tier db’s — recommend alternatives

Rather than posting your problems in an existing thread, I'd recommend posting it in a new thread - so we can actually see it. Posts in existing threads are not very discoverable This crash is only a console error, not a problem with your database. Your postgres database does not run on javascript 🙂 As for the OP, there's often not a lot we can do to assist replit customers. We cannot confirm who you are because on our backend we have no identifying information about the project other than that it's managed by replit
