Banned again for the wrong reason. - Roblox Forum
I feel like many people have gone through this cycle of getting banned for no reason. The first ban was Licks lips and bites into the food, that was too romantic! Can't have that in a game; there are children playing! Either way, I couldn't do anything about it and waited for 3 days. After that was done, I play a game. I'm forgetting about the last ban and then a fights breaks out. A very homophobic boy starts sending death threats towards others. I report him for harassment and bullying. Then he has a go at me because of my chain which says LBGTQ+. He threatens me too and I fight back. I was very calm but he wasn't. Other people joined my side and the more people talked about stopping this stupid fight, he bites back saying I wish you all could die by my hand as I will rip your neck off and hang it on my wall. I had to go so I left. I woke up, logged on and found that I was "harassing" him when I really wasn't. The quote I said was; Hes g@y and thats fine. Now that Im banned for 7 days. I don't know if the guy is banned and/or gotten a warning at all. I feel annoyed about him being able to say these things and yet I get the blame because I said g@y.
I do wonder how they do reports or they just see a word like g@y and ban the person instantly without looking at the context at all. I didn't get annoyed the first time, but when it comes to sending other people of the LBGTQ+ death threats, it's more of a serious issue!

It's just Roblox's way of trying to avoid teaching their young audience, that the word "gay" is a bad word, a lot of people use it as an insult and not actually referring to homosexuality.
Now, if you said that "He's gay" out of context, it could also be an insult.
Of course Roblox can't see the context, if you wrote it in a positive or negative way, so you got banned just in case you meant negative.
The person you argued with probably avoided the punishment due to clever wording.
There's not a lot you can do, but I suggest not getting into an argument with this topic in the future, and if your necklace cause this much problem, you might just wanna take it off.
