DOSBox games dont work
i tried to run Tyrian 2000 from GOG, but it doesnt even start. Same goes for other DOSBox games from GOG as well. My os is PopOS.

VI've also ran the
flatpak updateMake sure to install the Windows version of the game. You're running the Linux-native one there
SI installed the windows version Pinball Dreams Deluxe from GOG, but it still tries to boot it using wine even if I followed the wiki to use flatpak version of dosbox-staging.

CActually that seems to be normal for V1 builds (which this is, see manifest details)

Rhow did it not find the DOSBOX directory
Ris it on the drive?
Rit somehow expected there to be
/home/jonh/Games/Heroic/Pinball Dreams Deluxe/DOSBOXSThere is no DOSBOX directory there in the windows installation
Sand the linux installation fails because of missing libflac8 that the bundled dosbox expects to be at the system

VSo to clarify, do NOT use the native Linux versions... In Linux??
CThe Linux versions don't have the metadata necessary for GOGDL to know where DOSBox's configuration files are. The native version of DOSBox will still be used in the end
RI may figure something out to get the native builds to work too
VI would love that, but don't know how to help with that endevour. Running the Windows version does work though, perfectly, the first time around
