Immich thumbnails broken and can't load images on Android, web works well!

Installed Immich on Ubuntu 24.02 with the install script, added a docker volume pointing to the SMB server (somehow I dont really understand how it's working to be honest) It works amazingly well on firefox on all of my machines but not with the android app version both f-droid and playstore I uninstalled and tried clearing the cache and storage and more than half of the 1000 images I've put onto immich as a test show much as an exclamation point and cannot load when pressed on.

Is there some .cache or whatever folder related to mobile served thumbnails I can clear? Sorry I'm quite unfamiliar with linux for searching through folders /usr /home < this is almost foreign to me compared to windows

not sure if this is a quick fix known issue,if not I can provide the docker-compose.yml / env for now have to rush back to work!
