Bad luck maybe? - Grow a Garden
I've been playing for a little while, got a couple mil, yet I'm still so confused as to how people get such massive crops and plants. all my crops are tiny and I've tried watering them as well as leaving them and I've had maybe 4 larger fruits. I also cant get rarer seeds for the life of me, I got the moonflower, but it took me hours to get basic things like eggplants but everyone I know got them first try. there's also stuff like if it rains, storms, or anything, everyone else in the server gets electrified, frozen, wet, chilled or moonlit crops, and I get nothing. is this just me having bad luck or am I genuinely doing something wrong? I've not been playing for that long so I don't know the mechanics of the game, but I honestly sit there waiting for hours for stuff and its starting to really annoy me.

Mutations are luck massive crops are luck you can make big cactus with porcupine i recomend afk for a couple hours you will get rlly expensive fruits with lots of mutations

All mutations are based on luck. except for some which can be caused by certain items
Harvest multiple-producing crops regularly. this makes it so u can have higher chances to get a big fruit
