Can't join multiplayer on Fall Guys
Hey guys, I'm new here and I have a small issue. I cannot join my friends in Fall Guys on Heroic. I installed the EOS overlay and enabled it in fall guys settings but I still cannot join them. Do I need to restart my whole machine or install a certain version of proton to be able to play with them? If this is not the place to ask can someone redirect me? Thanks in advance

Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton:
1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest"
2. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest"
3. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from
current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings.
Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.robust-apricotOP•3mo ago

change the prefix config to something like
/home/khoulykid/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Fall Guys and try again
also, can you actually see the overlay? as in... if you press Shift+F3, does it show it?robust-apricotOP•3mo ago
No it doesn't show
Note that you'll have to re-enable the overlay both when switching between Wine-GE and GE-Proton & when changing Wineprefix paths in general

I changed to the latest GE-Proton. Do I still need to change the prefix?

it's recommended to not use

I changed the prefix, and I changed it to GE-Proton latest. I'm going to disable EOS and enable it again and let you know if it works.
