Why should the host's username be included?
This expectation exists for the sake of safety, transparency and accountability:
False, or fake, giveaways are extremely common. By the host of the giveaway verifying their account in the giveaway post, users can check the validity of the host. (i.e., account age; whether or not it's an alt.) - additionally they can check if the host is consistently using the same account.
Hosts are made accountable. If a host doesn't deliver prizes, our team can provide an in-depth investigation with a Roblox and Fandom account.
As a way to address all your questions, these rules are a matter of finding solutions to recurring problems. To a veteran user, like yourself, it may seem excessive. We do have a system of flexibility with our major and minor violation classes and the majority of giveaway expectations fall under minor policy violations. It will continue to be a requirement for users to put their Roblox username in their giveaway post in the interest of keeping the community streamlined and have a foundation of trust.

@Kinebrach sry for the ping but can you explain how the rule of stating the host's username benefits the community as we are all confused?
We have to know why such rules exists as rules are to maintain the community, no?
Also regarding to the post editing function disabled i would like to know why as it has caused dramas and mess especially when the host cannot edit the post to end the giveaways causing a lot of trouble. While the admins/mods failed to fulfill their responsibility to manage the posts, for example, isnt locking an ended giveaway before things get out of control is basic knowledge for any wiki mods/admins? Mods got the permission to lock/delete posts dont they?
Especially when everyone on the wiki can easily check any post's edit record.
Ive been on various wiki for over 5 years but never seen such i would say strict measurements that doesnt seem necessary. And as punishment were already given, clearly it isnt a "friendly reminder" or "preferance" but a set rule, why so?

After the event this morning, I sold two gold pink lilies (shocked + a couple orhers) for as much as a large, gold sunflower (shocked + frozen + a couple others) -- all in the $1.1B range.
Sunflowers are massive and kind of a pain. I wish they'd stop changing everything after you spend a ton of time getting it.
