maybe they could add fertilizers to affect a whole single rectangular plot instead of a radius and have it last for hours instead of just 5 or 10 minutes and make it have effects like turning grown/growing plants into gold/rainbow or some other kind of effect.. i dont know if this is a good idea but i cant think of anything else atm

It would be interesting if fertilizers only made plants bigger and then there was something separate that was more likely to cause rainbow or gold. That way, you could kind of target what you wanted.
