Why I think Candy Blossom should stay as the best plant - Grow a Garden
I know everyone is mad about the candy blossom being 'OP' because of several reasons, but I feel like the main reasons are because they can't get it anymore, and because they believe it was too easy to get for how much it produces. Yes, the candy blossom may have been somewhat easier to get than other divines, and yes it may be worth a lot more than other divines, but I think people are forgetting that really, it was the only plant (and arguably the only item for that matter) from the event that was capable of being used for grinding/money making. Candy blossom had roughly a 4-5% chance of being in stock every hour. Max of 1 seed. I'd say it was in stock about 11 times in total, maybe more. Price of 10m per seed. The event only lasted a week People need to remember that 10m back then was much harder to obtain than it is to obtain 1b now. There were almost no weather events, no mutations, half as much gear and no pets. Best plant was cactus and grape. On top of this, you also had to first unlock the event by donating 30kg worth of GOLDEN fruit, which for a new player was not that easy. My main reason as to why people need to calm down is due to the fact that the easter event had ARGUABLY only the Candy blossom as a good plant. Easter eggs are good, but people don't complain about them so they obviously aren't 'op'. Every other event has had either way more viable plants, easier obtainment or has lasted much longer. For example: Angry Plant event: (kind of a filler event ngl) you could get heaps of mid tier plants fairly easy. Lots of mid tier plants can still give the same money as a few high tiers remember. Moon Event: Lasted over a week and a half, so many new plants. Restocked every hour yet you could also get seeds from the owl too. Way easier to get a lot of decent plants. On top of that, by this time you had heaps of pets and new mutations to make money much easier to obtain. Bloodmoon event also...

presented more good plants. Moon melons were not that hard to obtain, and they alone are almost on par with Candy blossom Honey Event: Easiest event by far. At least 1 seed pack every hour, minimum in the pack was mid tier plants, so easy to get legendary+ plants from them. Much easier to 'unlock' the event due to each hour the bees basically giving you free access. On top of that you have the chance of the hive fruit and the nectarine plant which are both really good plants. People are complaining that most of the plants are single harvest however its so easy to get multiple legendaries or higher, that you will basically have a whole bush of flowers anyway. It also looks like this event will be extended and the moon event will be coming back AGAIN like you guys cannot complain that C Blossoms are op when you have this much time to get even more of these event plants which if you consider numbers, will end up being AT LEAST on par with C blossoms. ANDDD ALSOO, CANDY BLOSSOMS ARENT JUST 100B BY DEFAULT. why does EVERY server think a candy blossom from my tree is gonna make them rich, half of the fruit in your garden prob costs more bro. RANT OVER. for now

I don't think it's comparable to a tester reward since so many people have it, I'd much rather the economy get destroyed than have to stay at the same level of plants forever with a lot of cb owners above me.
Yeah cb wasn't guaranteed, that's why I said "If you grinded hard enough". If there are two players min maxing, the player with cb would always be ahead. I just think that's unfair.
Also, the number of cb seeds really doesn't matter much because you just need one big gold/rainbow one and a raccoon and you're set.

That is a good point, however I wouldn't say candy blossom was guaranteed. Yes it may have come up in the stock a few times but you had to be online 24/7 if you wanted a good amount and you had to always have enough money to buy them. I barely managed to buy the candy blossom seeds back then and I actually had to miss out on a few things from the stock because I couldn't afford them on top of the CB. Unless you have several candy blossom seeds, one or two alone will not produce more money than 8 or 9 moon melons alone.
Also, I think if candy blossom was available to much more people the economy would be even worse than it is today. Yeah it might be a reward for people who knew about the game early on but really, it isn't that big of an advantage and I don't think a lot of people realise how horrible it would be to add more plants that are at or above CB's level. CB is basically the same thing as a 'tester reward' in any other game.

Also Sunflower has a crazy weight limit so It's not really even close to cb, AND sunflower is completely luck based and ungrindable, while back then if you grinded enough you would get CB basically GUARANTEED

Moon melons are DEFINITELY NOT almost on par with cb.
the main reason people like me complain is because I KNOW I would have gotten it back then, but It's Impossible to get now so people who started playing earlier have a massive advantage over those who didn't even know about the game back then.
basically what I'm saying is cb makes it way way harder for newer players to catch up with people who basically got lucky by knowing about the game early Which feels extremely unfair.
also the honey event is NOT easy It's simple, sure but completely luck based. Problem is, sure, maybe 10m was way harder to get than 1b today BUT, was it harder to get than a couple trillion? because I would certainly pay that much for something as good or better than cb, but there is NO OPTION to do so. even with all the grinding in the world a new player can't get close to an older player with a raccoon and a CB alt.

Entirely agree! The fact that only like 10 blossoms were in stock throughout the whole event had me going crazy, since I had only gotten two even though I was logging on whenever I could (I was celebrating easter with my family)
I'm not sure why people are still complaining, I mean I see people saying that sunflower could possibly get them MORE money than candy blossoms with stacked mutations
I saw candy blossom in stock only three times, when the event started I had 9 million and the seed costed 10 million, and I didn't make it in time. Another time I snagged it easily and the third time was at the end of the event, where they moved it next to the seed shop. Overall the candy blossom was pretty well priced at 10 million at the time, since most people were starting out
