Basic sprinklers have terrible range so unless your plants are very very compacted together 1 wont cover all of them

I generally put the highest rarity first, typically in the middle of the moon melon cluster. you can place your lower rarities in the same general area in the middle so that all plants get hit. lower rarities like basic sprinkler can also be placed more often around the cluster
