iOS app not asking for local network permission

I just set up immich on an old computer and am able to access it from my desktop and mobile web browser, but am unable to access it from the iOS app. The exact same endpoint url works fine in safari. I assume the issue is that the app hasn’t asked for local network permissions. Viewing the app in settings and within the local network settings reveals no option to manually turn it on. Is there anything I can do to trigger the prompt, or am I doing something else wrong? I also have turned off all settings related to private MAC address and private relay. Tested on iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 26 dev beta 1
