Loading Screen Issue
Whenever I launch my valorant it seems to be stuck in this loading screen with the background music playing. This is unusual because my drivers (Both Intel and Nvidia) seem to be updated and I even went as far to check my settings to see if my system would need any updates, and it required none.

This is proof of my Intel graphics driver being updated:

And this is proof of my Windows system being updated:

Now, it seems odd that when I checked my task manager, I observed that my Valorant uses a significant amount of CPU and Memory with the consideration that it's stuck at the loading screen.

If you need the specs of my laptop, this is what I currently use:

If you have any idea how I can fix my game, please DM me or tag me in this chat and we can hopefully work towards something 👍 .
its not unusual valorant is a cpu bounded game
I had these cases before where I was stuck in the loading screen and my CPU was using around 0.1%
Anyways, I’m stuck in the loading screen again and now the screen is black with no music:

Is this a recent issue?
Try pressing F 11
Yes
It happened to me too a while back
Tried this, still didn't work
https://downloadmirror.intel.com/857041/gfx_win_101.6881.exe
download and install
Got it
@Icarus This is what shows:

You’re still on previous version
Use ddu to delete the igpu driver
And then install the driver I sent https://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU%20v18.1.1.5_setup.exe download ddu Then use it in safe mode ^ then download this driver while still in safe boot mode To enter safe boot Press windows key Search msconfig And open System Configuration Head to boot tab Check safe boot Click ok and restart when prompted

Got it, I'll update you when I'm finished doing the things you told me. Just quite busy
@Icarus

Clean and restart

Do I need to enable safe mode in the advanced options? @Icarus
No need to change anything on that
okay got it
Stay with me here
I'm doing everything now
@Icarus May I DM you
I think I have a serious issue

I’m stuck here
Did you click on setup pin
Yes sir
It’s bugged because I don’t know what happened to my wifi tab sir
Should I bring my laptop to the shop
@AbhimสŇyu :val_Okayge:
I remember when I got that problem, I straight up reinstalled windows :val_CAUGHT:
My laptop isn’t connecting to the wifi anymore
Weird
So I don’t think it could login my Microsoft account anymore

BUT, I did press shift and held the power button
And I still have access to this window
Pressing the continue option leads me back to the situation, so it’s useless
Try trouble shoot

Advanced

Startup repair
Got it

:val_HUH:
When I clicked “Advanced Options” it led back to this window
You COULD try advanced > system restore
But I’m not entirely sure if it would fix
But worth the try
Oh
It’s asking for a recovery key hold on
@Icarus if I reinstall Windows, does it erase all my files
Yes
Oh hell nah
Well I guess that would be one of our options
If you install with “keep files” option
Because I have my files backed up in a USB thankfully
I think we can try something else
Like what
Did the system restore not work
I can’t get my recovery key sir
Why not
Go to the link on your phone and login with your Microsoft account same as your pc
You’ll find the recovery key
Ah
Ill try that now
The link should be displayed on the screen
Hold on sir logging in
Oh thank godi
I found one key

@Icarus
No restore point..
You’re cooked :val_Copium:
It’s ayt
I’ll put a restore point next time
Let’s just focus on doing what we can right now
If reinstalling windows is our only option then so be it
@Icarus
Tbh I don’t know any other way of fixing this issue
Got it
Alright
@Kuzan For now you can reinstall windows, before reinstalling your applications run valorant after each app install one by one until the issue occurs and then you can be confident that application is the culprit and you shouldnt have it, much luck.
ping me for support in this thread.
Got it @Snorki, just give me sometime, I'll finish some work first
Whenever you've done what i asked and in the case it does not succeed you could ping me here in this thread.
Got it
Wait @Kuzan I've figured out another solution did you happen to reinstall yet, if you havent ping me.
@Snorki Ah unfortunately, I already reinstalled
Oh its okay
The safe boot & DDUs really messed up my laptop, I spent the entire morning redownloading everything
thought i would save you some trouble if you hadn't already.
mhm
It's alright, just do what i posted earlier in this thread and im almost certain you'll be up and running in no time!
Just make sure while downloading any applications, don't download anything that can interact/mess with riots vangaurd or valorant.
Got it
