Steam Games No Longer Launching

I think I accidentally deleted what I believed to be a redundant file. After doing so, I can no longer get steam to launch any of my games. I went from running Deltarune with 0 issues to being unable to launch any of my steam games. I have used the

command. This allowed Steam to open again, but I still can't get games to launch. I have tried installing and formatting a separate drive for this (both BTRFS and EXT4). I have followed to documentation to use the Gnome app for it: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/Auto-Mounting_Secondary_Drives/?h=mount. The games were originally on my NVME and ran fine but stopped working after whatever I broke. Then I tried the SSD to see if it was a mounting problem or something. I've also tried multiple proton versions. What information can I provide to help find a solution to this? Thank you very much for reading.
