general advice on tucking in shirts

for the pants: how high should pants go? waist? how should it fit? for the shirts: how should i tuck it in so it doesnt get all bunched up and i have extra fabric around the edges? should i be using shirts that are +1 up my size or no? anything else that you think someone who knows practically nothing on fashion would find helpful on this, please drop as well 🥲

Going off of the ispo in ur other Q&A it seems like you are looking for relatively high waisted pants, learning what "high waisted" is to you takes trying stuff on to learn what rise measurement you like. For tops also based on the inspo going up or just buying stuff that fits a bit oversized would probably fit the vibes in this pic

Bunching you can't do much unless shirt is really slim. I personally like the billowiness except when suspenders only make it stick out the side. Also, high armholes will allow you to raise your arms more without the shirt getting pulled out of your pants. Unfortunately sizing up means the armholes will also get bigger and farther out relative to your shoulders.
