DASH Plugin Crash in UE5.6 + Compatibility Inquiry
Hello！I'm currently using UE5.6 and attempting to run the trial version of the DASH plugin. However, the engine crashes immediately after I click the plugin icon—before it fully loads.
Interestingly, my colleague using the same UE5.6 version can run the trial plugin without any issues.
What could be the cause on my end?
Also, may I ask if permanent licenses is currently compatible with UE5.6?

YEah Im having issues too I tried updating to 5.6 and I get the Dash icon but it doesnt respond when I click it in the toolbar

Hey hey @lotus_yy @Retro 🙂 Yeah we generally are very slow during the weekends and on Friday there was a holiday in Sweden so I was off then too

And to your second question, yeah there is no difference between our licenses at all, trial vs subscription vs permanent, all have 100% access to everything 🙂

Is this the first time you have installed Dash?
Could you try this;
1. close UE
2. Delete the full Polygonflow folder located here: C:/Users/Administrator/Documents\PolygonFlow\
3. try to open Dash again

can you try again, but after step 2, also uninstall Dash by seaching for uninstall Dash in Windows Search. And then re-download Dash and install before trying to open UE again. https://www.polygonflow.io/download-latest-dash
And if this still doesn't work, can you try in another project? It could also be related to a clash between Dash and another plugin
Actually, I just remembered—it wasn’t my first time installing it. I first installed DASH a few days ago, but it crashed, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Could that have caused any issues?
If it crashes then already, I guess it is the same issue 😕
Should I use this application to uninstall it?

But if you are located in China, I may have an idea. If you open the Dash installation folder, you can search for Dash install in Windows search. And then you will find a file called "dependencies_311_tsinghua.bat", can you try running that after you have closed Unreal Engine?
It should open a console window and run through some processes, please let me know if that happens or not

我补充一下第一次安装的过程，不知道是否有很大的影响。因为是其他同事发给我的安装程序，我就在安装的过程中没有连VPN，会不会是这个原因缺少了什么，之后尝试再连上VPN卸载再安装几次也都一样崩溃。
