because there is also a friction force acting on a string na no i think on one side it will be friction added other wont idk tbh this is new

ok look at it this way pulley ke left side me agar aap string ka FBD banaoge to usme neeche mg lagega upar T but ek friction force bhi lagega on the right side neech mg upar T and thats it left wale m as the string is moving down what do you think friction upar lagega ya neeche? (friction force always acts as to oppose relative motion between the bodies) @Mangu
