Black Chunks Showing Up
Hey Guys i tried BSL Complimantery mod but nothing seems to work i always get these black things when i open bbs mod is there a fix for this and also the mods i use

Gonna have to do Thanos Method™️ while keeping Distant Horizons, Fabric API, Indium, Iris and Sodium in it.

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

You're basically doing the bottom part of that gif, in reverse.

i had a few time where it worked with the exact mods without changing anything
Also happens with all mods gone
Does it happen with shaders disabled?
Those black things just look like caves, and because caves are underground wiht no light they tend to be dark
The should render behind not over the vanilla terrain though
Try alt-tabbing twice when this happens
Disabling and reenabling fullscreen or the other way around
Or Changing the in gem resolution
without shaders nothing happens

Can you send the logs with all mods other then DH, Sodium and Iris gone, in order to have cleaner log?

had to leave bbs because its the only way to recreate the problem
changed the shader also ingame

Not this bug again.
Try updating the shader pack to r5.5 or later. If that doesn't fix it, unfortunately you may need to try a different pack or you have to upgrade Iris.

this happens when i use iris 1.7.6
tried bliss with the shader that should support distant horizon
Try using Iris 1.7.5 with latest Embeddium
what is embeddium also a mod ?
Embeddium is Sodium alternative on fabric and a port for forge

If you're getting this bug, if I recall, update Indium.
Although, I'm no longer keeping up with anything below the latest version of Minecraft, so try it and see I guess.
indium is at 1.0.36 which is the latest
Unfortunately I'm away from home until this Saturday, so I can't really fire up Minecraft and test your case.

Maybe Sodium that needs updating? This bug is known in Iris, but I forgot the solution of it.

Does everything work when you only use latest DH + Iris 1.7.5 + latest Embeddium (no Indium)
Or latest DH + Iris 1.7.6 + latest Sodium + latest Indium?
the water doesnt but the normal distant hoirzion does when i try to use bbs mod it gives me the error
