Accent colour within Firefox
I'm not sure what the cause is but on Bazzite (GNOME), it seems like the XDG accent colour isn't being properly sent to Firefox (or other Firefox-based browsers)
I've tried Firefox, Zen Browser and LibreWolf as flatpaks and Firefox as a system package and they all have the same issue
I can reproduce this on both of my Bazzite systems but not on my Bluefin system so it seems to be exclusively a Bazzite problem
To test you can open any website that uses the CSS AccentColor property, one example being https://tesk.page/
Buttons should be coloured with the system accent colour (purple by default) but for me on Bazzite they're blue instead of whatever I choose my accent colour to be

Solution
after multiple months, i have finally found the source of this issue
the adw-gtk3 theme seems to cause it, enabling the theme makes it only blue, but disabling it reverts back to the system's accent colour
