Launch the game in game mode, then go back to desktop mode and send in the log file

"targetExe": "/home/deck/Games/Heroic/Saints Row 2/SR2_pc.exe", no need to specify an alternative exe "name": "Proton - Proton - Experimental", switch to GE-Proton-latest

Define this. What happened?

after i did the configurations (removed the alternative exe) and switch to GE. while in game mode it did the usual thing it does in game mode

That’s still vague. I don’t know what you mean by “did not work” and “the usual thing” I cannot see your Deck, so I don’t know what you consider “usual” especially when that means not working

when I tried to open the game with your suggestions it still did not open in game mode. When i removed the alternative exe and switch to GE Proton. It tried to open and it crashed what else can i do ?

Ah, it's that bug. Never quite sure how people resolved that one Basically for some reason your screen refresh rate is detected as 0Hz. Perhaps you have something relating to this set in your global performance overlay settings?
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/GL/default/share/libdrm/amdgpu.ids: No such file or directory
This is also worrying. Could you send in the output of
flatpak list --runtime | grep Mesa
flatpak list --runtime | grep Mesa
You should have a org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default and a org.freedesktop.Platform.GL32.default listed there. That error message suggests the GL32 one isn't installed

Yes that looks normal I'm not sure why that file is missing for you. It's there on my deck:
(deck@steamdeck ~)$ flatpak run --command=ls com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl -l /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/GL/default/share/libdrm/
total 20
-rw-r--r-- 4 nfsnobody nfsnobody 19361 Jan 1 1970 amdgpu.ids
(deck@steamdeck ~)$ flatpak run --command=ls com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl -l /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/GL/default/share/libdrm/
total 20
-rw-r--r-- 4 nfsnobody nfsnobody 19361 Jan 1 1970 amdgpu.ids
I doubt that'll be the issue though, it's likely just looking into that file to find the name of your GPU. It being missing shouldn't matter Quoting my above message:
