Showing us the outfit we want and then dont give it to us is just so mean and frustrating
They should have just give the 4 outfits and let us buy the outfits that interests us and not make us wait 2 weeks for a outfit we donβt like </3
The current method gives them better engagement sadly. As frustrating as it is, it gives them more long term commitment from players wanting specific outfits to return :IvyCry:
From what Iβve seen with new implementations so far, I think their main plan this year is to maintain long term commitment as long as possible

Putting a gacha that people payed for into the shop rotation and not giving people the chance to buy the outfit they want but taunting them with it is something id quit the game over
I think we could exclude the Christmas gacha considering it was during the era of management being with WB.
The shop outfits have always been shop outfits, WB made the deliberate decision to make it a gacha/loyalty set
I don't see NE making this kind of blunder anytime soon, just dishing out more low-quality new gachas moving forward.
I get where youβre coming from, but I think thereβs more to consider here.
1. Most of these outfits were originally shop outfits
2. As some one who paid for the gacha myself. I think we still received exclusive bonus items, not to mention the exclusive voice pack as well, which some buyers donβt get. Still dont erase the value imo.
3. Permanent availability with rotation creates long-term engagement. If everything is just dumped into the shop at once, players come in, grab what they want, and leave(especially inactive players) But a rotating shop encourages people to check in regularly, which helps maintain a consistent player base. Itβs a common strategy in live service games such as HPMA to promote ongoing activity.
Personally, i dont like this as i have to wait for my favorite outfits as well. But even though it's not ideal, I think it's much better way to return outfits than gacha/loyalty orr voting event. My only problem with it is that there needs to be guarantee to get outfits we want to actually keep players to be more active in game.
Also, I personally think there wouldnt be much problems if those shop outfits were released way before in global. Which is WB at fault
I just think they could've at least let us choose 1 of the 4 in rotation ...like here's your 4 for the week you can only buy 1, if a person has 2 outfits they like they have to make a choice...ive had 3 weeks now of having 1 outfit I want behind the curtain with 3 hideous sets and I keep getting anything butπ

They dont disappear at all. The only 'pity' system in place is that, if you own the chosen outfit 3 times in a row, then it'll favor the outfits you dont own 1 round after that
And then you can go back to getting the outfit you already own on the fifthπ
This curtain is so stoopidπ it favours some people to a ridiculous degree
