Visual bug caused w/wo mods loaded.

I have been experiencing this for the past few days out of the blue, I have gone through every mod and even without any turned on this happens. While also reloading mods, during the end of finalizing it makes a very rapid clicking sound that I can only describe as the noise of hovering over a menu option. I was even sent to a github page for ""Terraria.ModLoader.Mod.GetTexture(String name)" error". I verified integrity of both tmodloader and base terraria. I have zero idea and i suspect its a tmodloader issue itself. Maybe when we installed a mod it corrupted a component of tmodloader itself.Yet we played several days with the same mods, same configs. i believe this started 3-5 days ago. I am utterly stumped. I should note this is happening to my friend as well, except he can sometimes just reload a world and it works fine. it also hasn't crashed my game but tanks fps. I cannot find the definitive reason to try and fix it myself.

Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page. If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. If you need a visual guide to this process watch this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/assets/4522492/3f4efa43-753f-4733-b630-ba85e711340c

I'm seeing a lot of errors from VanillaQoL (Vanilla+ QoL), I'd suggest disabling that or contacting the author

i mean, it was always the last one to load, longest to load, and the visible mod when the loading bar was doing the obnoxious clicking. Even with it disabled though the problem persisted. I did end up redownloading the Tmodloader itself and the first 2 times everything was fine. Ill still let the author know. Thanks for your time btw

appears to be a core file getting corrupted somehow, possibly by something VanillaQoL does? but it's only fixable by verifying files or reinstalling

What makes you say that? Is there something in the logs, the error for world/ui element should be ignored. The vqol+ dev said It’s just the icons that show permabuffs taken, but it should just be ignored

because it's a permanent effect even after all mods are uninstalled, so once it happens it stays happened until you verify tmod mine was "caused" by adding VanillaQoL, but it remained through a hard wipe of my mods.
