Server can't keep up. Is the Server overloaded? Error
When I install DistantHorizons on my server and I play with my friends for 30min on the server, the server gets this error message. The error message then appears every few minutes. I have also tried to pre-render the chunks with the command /dh pregen but the same error comes up after a while. I tried to allocate more RAM to the server but it did not work. Mincraft Version: 1.21.4 and DH Version is 2.3
I rented a dedicated server with those specs:
Intel Core i5 13500
64GB DDR5 RAM
2x 500GB NVME SSD's
1Gbit/s Down and Up

Try reducing DH’s CPU load
Do you mean the settings "threadRunTimeRatio = "1.0"" ?
No I mean the cpu load preset
It does not exist in the file as it controlled multiple options, including the one you found
You can change it server side by running the correct command

I will try the new nightly build with the comment to lower the cpu present for the mod. Thank you for the answers. Do you know how much ram is recommended for a server with DH?
That depends on the cpu and thread preset
i have selected the "low_impact" preset. The CPU from the Server is an i5 13500 with 6P Cores and 8E Cores and overall 20 Threads
Try minimal impact
Also if the server does not have a nit cable lag for the players that annoys them, just ignore this
i tested it with the preset minimal impact and i dont get the message at least for now anymore. Thank you for the help!
