Icebox Rework (fanmade wip)
Me and my friend started talking about icebox and some of the issues we have with it, and I wanted to try and rework the map so that fights are more centered on the sites and less so on the post plant gameplay that val has been trying to avoid as of late. This is purely a concept, and I do not expect any of these changes to come to the actual game.

It's going to be a cs2 workshop map when it's cleaner for people to try out

yes, this is one of the changes that I planned out. The main is more open because the site itself is much further back into the site then before
site entry is outlaw heaven
it's kinda hard to explain, but I wanted to simplify a lot of the vertical elements of the map, so the main is no longer a place where people can camp out for the post plant

in exchange, the mid tube has been removed, and attackers have a much stronger option for a split

yeah, it's kinda meant to be
as I said, mid splits are way more viable
and ts can push further into ct safely
plus, that is supposed to be a smoke width
so I'm assuming in most fights, that would be smoked off
it's kinda why there's a crate now

you're def right that it's a much more wide sight line, but I really think this trade off more then makes up for that

plus, I really think the horrible post plants on this map need to be addressed

yes post plant is actually horrible
no, tube is fully removed
and window
a later defender wrap or lurk down mid now has to come from the ct direction, making mid a lot more available for attackers.
