Question about afk/connection suspensions and bans

So I'm a long time valorant player, played the beta on PC, played release, put 3-4k hours in it on all platforms. Now I play console with about 1k hours and $2-3k worth of items, and now I have better Internet (Starlink) but unfortunately I have an issue with my cable that I have to work on getting replaced because it keeps going out... During my valorant games. Most of the time I get to reconnect after 30 seconds to a minute. However, for some reason my last ranked match didn't let me rejoin and gave a message that I had a queue timer restriction and that I could be banned PERMANENTLY. To me I find that extremely dumb, you have the BEST anti cheat in ANY multiplayer game but you can't detect when a disconnection happens??? So can someone explain to me in detail how these suspensions and bans work??? Thanks
