Issue with Distant Horizons and Indium on Lunar Client (Minecraft 1.21.4)
I used to play on the Wynncraft server using Lunar Client with the Distant Horizons mod, and everything worked fine. After formatting my PC, I reinstalled Lunar Client and Wynncraft, then added the latest version of Distant Horizons to the mods folder.
But now, when I launch the game, I get an error message saying I need Indium for Minecraft 1.21.4, even though that version of Indium doesn’t exist yet. I’ve checked everywhere, and I can't find an Indium version that works with 1.21.4.
Has anyone dealt with this before or found a way to fix it?

Note: it used to work fine with lunar client
Try the latest nightly. If that doesn't work, then Lunar being Lunar I guessed.
(one time they made an update that immediately broke Distant Horizons support after having it working previously)
wait whats nightly ? sorry i never heard of this
#links-n-downloads, basically very freshly compiled builds of the mod.
Warning, may contain undiscovered bugs. Use it in a test world first before using it in the world you play on.
oh wow thnx MC launched fine, ill test in a world or on wynncraft server and see how it goes
!nightly
Nightly is a newer than latest stable release version of the mod. Every single code change results in a new nightly build. Nightly builds can be unstable and contain experimental features, but they can also contain new bug fixes that are not yet present in the stable release.
yeah so its kinda broken haha
however i recinnected to the server and its working fine

as soon as i alt tab this thing comes back

Hacked clients, PVP clients, optimization clients, etc. are problematic for multiple reasons, particularly when it comes to mod compatibility. You may run into issues like rendering glitches or crashes due to their built-in modifications to Minecraft. They are unsupported by Distant Horizons and are not recommended. Instead, we recommend using a launcher that does not modify Minecraft itself, such as Prism Launcher, Modrinth App, or even the vanilla launcher from Mojang. You can read more about good and bad launchers at Sodium's Github.

A Minecraft mod designed to improve frame rates and reduce micro-stutter - CaffeineMC/sodium
Can't do much with the broken rendering occurring in Lunar. They ship non-standard Sodium to begin with.
Don’t use Lunar, even if it will work, everything can break at any time, and you won’t get support for fixing it here
