Videos on IOS
Hello,
Can anyone help please with suggested transcoding options for Videos to play on Ipad and Iphone? I was really excited to set up a user for my friend and upload a few of his photos and videos to show him how great Immich is! I was then hoping to persuade him to use it for all his family memories but as soon as he tried to play back videos on his Ipad and Iphone he simply found that they would not play back. So far he has tried Safari and the Immich app pn IOS.
I've searched the Gihub issues and tried re-transcoding the videos from 1080 to 720 and to HVEC and matching the bitrate as suggested for 720 but still he reports that nothing so far works and it takes a while to do and then message him to test and we're getting nowhere.
I'm hoping to borrow an Ipad from him in a few days so I can test but in the meantime, can anyone suggest some settings please?
